Tenant Portal: How to Submit Maintenance Requests Online & What to Expect During a Maintenance Visit

At Bauer Property Management, we’re committed to making life easier for our residents. One of

the ways we do that is through our convenient online Tenant Portal. You can easily access your

portal through our website www.bpmhousing.com or by downloading the app. The app can be

found in your phones Appstore titled “AppFolio Portal.”

Whether you’re dealing with a leaky faucet or a broken appliance, submitting a maintenance

request has never been simpler — and we want you to know exactly what to expect once that

request is in motion.

How to Submit a Maintenance Request Online

    1.    Log In

Start by logging into your Tenant Portal through our website or app.

    2.    Submit Request

Once inside the portal, navigate to the “Maintenance” section. You will then be able to click on

“Request Maintenance.” From there please provide as many details as possible about the issue:

what’s happening, where it’s happening, and when you first noticed it. You can even upload

photos, which helps our team diagnose the problem faster.

    3.    Track Progress

After submission, you’ll receive a message. You can log back into the portal anytime to check

the status of your request.

What to Expect During a Maintenance Visit

Once we’ve reviewed your request, a member of our maintenance team will be scheduled to

visit. We’ll provide notice of the visit date and approximate time — we respect your privacy and

strive to be as transparent as possible.

During the visit, our team will arrive ready to fix your needs. They’ll assess and address the

issue, or in some cases, schedule a follow-up if additional parts or work are needed.

Our goal is always to resolve problems quickly, safely, and with minimal disruption to your daily

life.
